Why Early Access?

As Phantom Galaxies makes its grand entrance onto Steam we have at last reached the long-awaited Early Access of Phantom Galaxies! With Early Access, we are showcasing all of the features, improvements, bug fixes, and hard work our teams have dedicated themselves to over the years - as well as much more! We cannot wait for all our players to experience this refined mech adventure, and welcome more invaluable community feedback as we apply further updates and overall polish.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

Early Access is scheduled to launch November 2nd, 2023, and end in Q4 2024.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

With the Early Access version of Phantom Galaxies, we are introducing a Free-to-Play Experience, and will continue to add new features, update content, experiment with new weaponry, and hone the AAA experience Phantom Galaxies has set out to be. Beyond Early Access, Phantom Galaxies will have large content releases including new gear, new multiplayer modes, new FX and additional story elements.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

This Early Access build of Phantom Galaxies is a completely different build, compared to our previous Alpha builds. With all the valuable community bug reports, feedback and continued hard work from all departments, we’ve refined and elevated this one-of-a-kind AAA mech experience to new heights. You can expect to see new missions, modes, weapons, cosmetics and much more!

Early Access currently includes four episodes worth of story content, four mech classes with unique space battle playstyles, a brand new tutorial, PvP mode, repeatable content such as Bounties and Patrols, and photo mode.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

No, Phantom Galaxies will be free to play during Early Access and beyond.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

We deeply value our players and their experience within the Phantom Galaxies universe, and as such we encourage our players to jump into discussions with us in our Discord community or engage with us through our socials. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to expand the Phantom Galaxies gameplay experience.
