What is Phantom Galaxies about? Phantom Galaxies is a AAA game with the biggest bad-ass Mechas on the Blockchain! An open-world online space sim with fast-paced mech shooting and a captivating story.
When is Phantom Galaxies coming out? Early Access is slated for late 2023. The game has been in development for over 3 years. Certain NFT holders have access to the Beta Cohorts in the leadup to our Early Access release.

Will these specs be the final specs for the official release of Phantom Galaxies? No. The Phantom Galaxies team is working on optimizing the final build. More information to come later on.
Will I be able to play without the Blockchain/NFT elements? Yes! While the Beta Cohorts require ownership of specific NFTs in order to play, in the future, you will be able to play PG without the blockchain elements.

What are NFTs? NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are digital assets that represent a real world object like art, music, videos, and in-game items. Every NFT is a unique token on the blockchain and while copies of these digital items are available for anyone to obtain, NFTs are tracked on blockchains to provide the owner with a proof of ownership. Which marketplaces can I purchase NFTs on? The initial supported marketplace for secondary sales is OpenSea.io. Otherwise, you can also purchase directly from the Phantom Galaxies website when NFTs are available to mint.

What is a litepaper and a whitepaper? A whitepaper is a document created by the founders and/or developers of a blockchain project. This document will provide facts, diagrams, statistics and quotes to people interested in the project. A litepaper is an initial high level version of a whitepaper. It summarizes the contents of a whitepaper while maintaining the significant points of the whole document. You can view our current litepaper in Official Links + Litepaper.
When was the litepaper released? The Litepaper was released December 14th 2021 (UTC) and has been periodically updated. It is available on the official Phantom Galaxies website. Please take every precaution to ensure you download it only from the official website. This document is in PDF format.
Will there be a whitepaper? The whitepaper will follow a period of time after the release of the litepaper. The exact date is yet to be determined, as the whitepaper expands on the litepaper. The whitepaper will be made available in the same manner as the litepaper, on the official Phantom Galaxies website. There will be official announcements and other communication from the team as per usual.
What is the Phantom Galaxies token? ASTRAFER is the official governance and utility token for Phantom Galaxies. You can find out more about Tokenomics in the ASTRAFER Tokenomics.
Is there an IDO? No, there will not be an IDO. ASTRAFER is currently available to swap for on QuickSwap, and each Planet is allocated an amount of ASTRAFER that can be rewarded in-game based on the amount of effort and interaction that Planet owners have in the game. How can I purchase Planets? Planet sales are closed at this time. You can participate in future public sales, or purchase through Opensea.
What blockchain will this be on? Currently, Phantom Galaxies is on the Polygon Chain only. However, Phantom Galaxies is being built as a multichain game. Each blockchain will have its own home galaxy and players from different chains will be able to interact with each other throughout the Phantom Galaxies universe. The rollout of the game on multiple chains will happen in phases and in parallel with the advancement of the game’s storyline. Are there going to be gas fees? Polygon (MATIC) is one of the networks we use which has very minimal gas fees.
When can we mint our NFTs? We are continually updating our Roadmap. Check with our Discord to get the most up to date information.
Who was able to partake in the Private Planet Sale? Only close Animoca partners, brands, and guilds are able to participate in the private sale.

Can Planets be destroyed or raided by other players? Planets CANNOT be destroyed. Rogue Planets (these are not player owned, but instead owned by Phantom Galaxies) CAN be player controlled.
